Are you hiring?


We are always looking for talented actors who are good at improve and interaction with customers for long periods of time. Part time and full time positions are available with flexible schedules.




Do you sell gift certificates?


Yes they are available on our website and also onsite in our store. You can also contact us to get your gift certificate at 801-753-8601, or email us at contactus@redgiantescaperooms.com.




What’s the point of doing another escape room or the same one twice?


There are several reasons. 1) Each escape room is unique in almost every way, even those with the same theme at different locations are drastically different. 2) If you enjoyed a particular escape room you can come back and bring friends and work on the puzzles you didn’t solve yourself while letting others solve the ones you did last time. 3) Plus if you didn’t escape in time you can always come back and try to beat the room again now that you are better prepared. Lastly, 4) many of our rooms have different options either in the start, the end or the whole thing that affect the character in the story the actor represents, the story, and some of the props. The biggest reason is they are fun.




Do you offer a portable escape I can book to come to me?


Currently we do not but will offer one in 2019.

I’ve booked my escape room with Red Giant Escape Rooms

What is not allowed on site?


No drugs, weapons, smoking, or alcohol are allowed within 25 feet of the premises. Also no outside foot is allowed. All personal belongings including but not limited to items with cameras to cameras themselves are not allowed in the room. Lockers will be provided to you for storage. If you take your phone or an item with a camera in it you will be removed from the room with no refund.




What happens if I’m late to my reservation?


We will try to accommodate depending on the booking and resources available at and after the time of your escape room booking. If you and your group are the only ones in that particular escape we won’t start until you arrive waiting a maximum of 20 minutes. Your escape room experience will also be an hour minus the amount of time you are late. If others are in your same booking then the escape will start on time and without you but you will be allowed into the room up to 20 minutes from when the escape was suppose to start.




Can I change my reservations once I have already booked it?


Yes. Simply call us at 801-753-8601 or email us at contactus@redgiantescaperooms.com before the minimum time required to change a reservation. Click Here for our full policies.




Do you offer refunds?


We have a general no refund policy. Click here for more information.




What if we beat the game before the time runs out?


Awesome! That’s the goal! You want to try to get out as quickly as possible. We will do everything we can so that you get the most time to play the game but if you’re awesome, you’re awesome.




What if we run out of time before we beat the game?


Then the game is over and you can come back and try again to try to conquer the room that conquered you. We will also give you the option to know what you were missing if you don’t beat the game in case you want to know.




What happens if we can’t solve the puzzles in the room?


Each room has live actors in the room and are also monitored through our camera system. We want you to get the most bang for your buck so we will moderate how many clues we give you and how often they are given through our live actors so that you get the most of the 60 minute escape available to you. You’re probably closer to cracking it then you think.




Do you have red herring puzzles? What is a red herring puzzle?


No! These are clues, puzzles or riddles that take up time but don’t lead anywhere or give you any perks. We do not like red herrings.




How early should I arrive?


As early as you want so that you can check out our Virtual Reality escape games, hang out with your friends in our waiting area, play some of our free games in the lobby and get a drink and snacks. You need to show up at least 20 minutes early to check in and sign waivers. Feel free to stay after your escape as well.




Why do I need to sign a waiver?


Escape rooms are very exciting and most people lose themselves in the game. Sometimes this can lead to over excitement in a room with up to 12+ people. We take every precaution to make sure you are safe but just in case we have the waivers to make sure people don't get too crazy and to protect us if they do.




Why do you have cameras in each room?


To help customers who need clues, to help as quickly as possible if there is an emergency, and to protect ourselves from false accusations that may arise.




Is the door really locked?


Some rooms do have locked doors and some don't. Any door that is locked as an exit has several emergency overrides including a manual emergency release button available for anyone to push if needed.




Do I need to bring anything?


Mental preparation to have a good time is all you need and even if you don’t once the game starts you will anyways.




Does it matter who uses the tickets I purchase?


No. They are not assigned to anyone in particular EXCEPT for the person who books the tickets. That person must be present to pickup the tickets onsite or have communicated with us before hand that someone else will pick up the tickets will proof of identity.
